ABSTRACT

I wake up to an irritating religious scream of some old moulvi to find out its one o clock in the afternoon. I call for a few of my friends but none respond when I realize all of them have left for college and am the only one left in the house. Felt very lazy about going to college because that is seriously a waste of time. So I get myself freshened up and head towards the kitchen to see if I can manage something to hog. I find aloo parathas very generously awaiting my hungry soul and I oblige them, I am a good Samaritan after all.

Big time jobless so switch on the computer and thought about orkutting for a while but alas! Net connection is down. So far so good.
I switch on the tv and look for some good movies. While surfing, a couple of the Hindi movie channels draw my attention and I intently wait for a good movie to show up. I find some old moronic intellectually challenging karishma and anil kapoor movie coming up so I surf further till I land up in HBO and Star Movies. Worthless movies. Some thoroughly gross ghost movies coming up and some Chinese bullcrap too. So I surf further when I see the logo of touchstone pictures in Zee Studios. Interested I keep looking and there it is. A perfect movie for my mood. I find runaway bride starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts (I know I do not need to mention that) and I am so happy. Though I have seen the movie for like a thousand times but the love for it is still there. I don’t know, I just simply love those mushy romantic comedies which I know is quite improbable if not impossible in today’s world but who does not like candy floss?

But luck had other ideas I guess! Fifteen minutes into the movie the screen goes blue…cable’s out!! No net, no cable..what am I supposed to do? So I head for college. I know some of you are breathing a sigh of relief that it took me nothing more than a faulty net and tv connection to get me to college..but think again my friend. I am going to the common room to play table tennis. Enjoy!!

Hahahahahahahaha. That's awesome! It sounds exactly like me, except I actually show up but it takes everything in me to pay attention. Hmmmmm. I wonder if I can poke my eye out with this pencil. Oh wait, the person in front of me has misplaced hairs on their head....I wonder how many hairs I can pull out before they turn around and clock me one. Hey, look at the picture I've drawn of my instructor. Yes, interesting isn't it? Well, you get the idea. Oh, and I love Runaway Bride too....but I think that's because I'm a girl. Nice to see I'm not alone in this world

Ahh, it seems there are three things that ge better and better with time, Friendship (if properly coveted), Wine (if properly stored) and your blog (Absolutely always)! :-D

Runaway Bride... Never seen it! Will ruin my T2-loving reputation right :P Hehe...

But... yes, Dec/Jan... bring your friends along and, I assure you, guarantee you, they will not forget the time they will have... :D Of course NO TIME in the year is a replacement for the Pujos, but.. we will make the best of what we can have.

Bets of luck with your job search man.. it is so frustrating, becuase I am going through exactly the same thing... plus, I don't even want most of the jobs they are advertising.. I guess dream jobs are rare to come by heh.. and beggars can't be choosers anyway. Lets see...

PS: Halloween is on its way, Lala and I will dress up for it this year :D Any ideas for costumes???
